Course Materials

Shared Files:
I will regularly be uploading course related handouts and materials to this folder.
Feel free to check it weekly and download things I've shared.

Photoshop:
Each Student should have Photoshop installed on their computer in class. You don't need to have the latest version (CS6), an older version is fine. If you're buying Photoshop for the first time, you might consider a monthly Adobe membership which is a little more affordable. Memberships start at $20/month. More info here: https://creative.adobe.com/plans

Backup:
Each student should have a way of backing up work. I use a 2T external portable hard drive and/or Dropbox, but any way you want to back up is fine (burning Discs, keeping them on another computer, Cloud...) But it's good to always have your photos in at least 2 spots if possible.

Card Reader:
Please bring a cord to class to connect your camera to the computer to download photos, or a card reader (perhaps something like this).

Lenses:
You don't need to have any fancy lenses for this class, but if you're thinking of buying just one more, this is a great, affordable option and is especially great for portraits: Nikon 50mm f1.8  /  Canon 50mmf1.8
You can also consider renting a lens for a day before purchasing.

External Flashes:
